Welcome to Mother Home Retreat Centre

A Home of Healing, Hope, and Renewal in Christ

Founded on September 8, 2004, the Feast of the Nativity of Our Lady, Mother Home Retreat Centre was born from a deep desire to bring God’s healing love to His people. Under the inspired vision of Rev. Fr. Mathew Asariparambil, and with the blessing and encouragement of Archbishop Mar George Valiamattam, then Archbishop of Thalassery, this house of prayer began its mission as a humble place of refuge for the weary and wounded.

Throughout the years, Mother Home has been a sacred space where countless hearts have encountered the transforming love of Jesus and the tender care of our Blessed Mother. Now under the loving guidance and support of Archbishop Mar Joseph Pamplani, and continuing the legacy of his predecessors, Archbishop Mar George Njaralakattu and Archbishop Mar George Valiamattam, the Centre stands firmly as a spiritual beacon in the Archdiocese of Thalassery. Since its beginning, more than 776 retreats have been conducted, and over three lakh (300,000) souls have experienced the grace of God here. Many have been healed from sickness, rescued from despair and suicidal thoughts, and reconciled in broken marriages. Lives have been renewed, burdens lifted, and hope restored through the Word of God, the Holy Eucharist, and fervent intercession.

Today, the mission of Mother Home continues with zeal and compassion under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Benny Puthennada, Director; Rev. Fr. Michle Manjakunnel, Administrator; and Rev. Fr. Paul Pulimala, Spiritual Father. Together, they guide all who come here to encounter the living presence of Jesus and to find peace, forgiveness, and purpose in His love.
